2007?

Somehow we find ourselves entering yet another year. The fact that we're in 2007 is a huge deal. 2007 is a year that has been on my radar since a very young age as the year that seemed forever away. "graduating from college" seemed ridiculous, and that was to happen in 2007. Well, 2007 is here.

For Marking Twain, 2006 was an insanely good year. Jan 1st 2006 we had played once out of Cincinnati, and had only had our CD out for one month. In one busy busy year, we have played multiple dates in Chicago, New York City, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Detroit, we've had shows at BGSU, Indiana University, Xavier U, the University of Cincinnati, and of course Miami U. We were featured in multiple news outlets in Cincinnati and Oxford, nad were nominated for a Cincinnati Entertainment Award. Finally, in November, we signed a production deal with Bestes Music Nashville that will hopefully lead to bigger and better things in 2007.

We had a great New Years Eve at Verago, a swanky Nashville establishment. Chris and Amy shared a great meal with us on NYE. Pre-production continues. Its getting interesting.
